Blue Bedding Is Not Just For Boys
Typically, baby boy bedding is blue and pink is for girls. Many people usually forget that adults can use this
same color too. You don't have to be in the navy or as a patient in a hospital because there are blue bedding
options to suit anyone who wants to lighten up or darken their bedroom. Blue is one of those colors that can meld
with other colors without looking like something from a night club. Instead of looking at bedding for infants,
because that is easy, let's look at blue bedding for adults.
The "Cabana Blue" comforter set contains 7 items including a duvet, 2 pillow shams, 2 small pillows, bed
skirt, and neck roll pillow. The set will run you about $80 on Amazon.com. All pieces are made from 100% cotton
and reminded me of something I would have at a beach house. It is definitely something you can use at home to
lighten up a room. The picture is better than the actual bedding but everything matches. One thing you should
do before you start using it is to make sure that all seams and buttons are attached properly. This set has a
history of button popping.
The Egyption 1200 thread count blue bedding sets is something to be aware of. While the picture looks great,
there is often misleading advertisements about it. You need to read very carefully because most likely the set you
are buying is for the pillow cases only. They will cost $35 for a set of 2. While the quality is very good, you may
want to pass on to something with a better reputation.
Room Essentials has a great line of blue bedding comforters that are usually under $30. I haven't come across a
complete set but I will let you know when I do. Most often you will find that the sheets, pillow, and blue
comforter are sold separately. That is another reason why sites like Amazon are great because they will offer under
the "frequently bought together" section so you can pick up a complete set from different sellers. The quality is
very good for the price range and definitely something I would even use for a teenagers bedroom.
If you prefer a down filled comforter to satisfy your blue bedding craving then the Pike Street down
comforter may be right up your alley. It comes in two tones of blue, one light and one dark. Normally it is
about $150 but I've been seeing the prices slashed to where it is about $50. This particular comforter is
filled with 25 ounce white down and is very light. The thing that is great is that it will keep you warm even
though it is not a real heavy blanket. However, there is a problem. For some reason the seams or the fabric
release feathers quite often. So you may either need to go over all of the seams or perhaps use a duvet cover
to keep things in check. The dimensions of it will allow it to be used on a queen sized bed but just barely. If
you like a lot of hangover then you will have to find something much larger.
Another one that works really well with blue bedding is blue and white like blue arctic waves or retro radar
blue bed in a bag set. But no matter what you choose, blue is not just for boys.
