Lavender Bedding With A Hint of Purple

Depending on where you look the color lavender varies slightly. The three main colors that it closely resembles
is pink, purple, and blue. I like to think of it being a very light shade of purple. The color itself is very easy
on the eyes and definitely has a feminine feel to it. While lavender bedding is very popular among baby crib
bedding sets, it is also available for adults.
First let's look at lavender bedding for teens and adults. In the picture is an Egyptian cotton bedding
that has a whopping 800 thread count. The sheet set its self is only $89.99 and comes with a fitted and flat
sheet as well as a pillow case. The price reflects the 800 thread count and can be found on Amazon.com by a
seller called "Egyptian Bedding." Again, we have no affiliation with them and there may be other sellers
selling this sheet set. With the thread count being so high, it will feel very smooth on your skin. This will
allow you to save money by buying a cheaper comforter set to put over top.
I couldn't help it, but I had to add in the Chezmoi Collection "Lavender and Purple Micro Suede." It is a
deep purple color just like the picture shows. The best thing is that comes with 7 pieces including: 1
comforter, 2 pillow shams, bed skirt, neck roll, and 2 decorative pillows. They are made from polyester and the
complete set is about $60 on Amazon. It looks like EcityDirect is having some sort of sale or clearance because
this usually in the price range of $349. While the color it very dark, it is not like other dark bed in a bag
sets that you can't tell if it's black or blue. The only thing you need to take note of is that it doesn't come
with a sham sheet. This set does go very well with the Egyptian cotton sheets mentioned earlier.
For younger people, including toddlers and teens, the Disney Tinkerbell Garden Treasures bed set may be
appropriate. The set includes comforters as well as sheets and a pillow case. It is made of 40% polyester and
60% cotton. The fitted sheet however does not have a fitted end like most usually do. The designs are much
better in person than they are in the picture. It is very girly with tinker bell and her friends on the
comforter and her alone on the pillow case. You will be happy to learn that this set is good for summer and
winter. It's got enough density to it to keep your little princess warm in the winter. For $44.95 all you need
is a mattress and your set. A quick paint on the walls of lavender and purple curtains will transform any room
quickly and affordably.
Palm Grace Creations also has a cute twin set for teens. It's $54.97 and includes 100% cotton sham, skirt, and
quilt. The butterflies and flowers add a nice touch to accent the lavender purple colors.
The Butterfly Silky by Soho Designs features 10 items: quilt, baby bumper, fitted sheet, skirt, 2 window
valances, diaper stacker, baby pillow, baby bib, and toy bag. This is a deluxe set that can easily be taken
with you to grandma and grandpa's house. Some of the designs, such as the butterflies, will change color. The
curtains aren't that great. In fact they suck. Any light that shines from behind them makes them light up with
ugly stripes. The baby bumper is pretty easily torn off but you should try to prevent that from happening in
the first place. The biggest thing is that the comforter keeps your baby warm. It might even be too hot for the
summer heat. Another warning I would give is to not wash these with other items. The satin fabric ruins very
easily so you must take extra care. One tip that was sent to us was to not wash it with anything that contains
Velcro so that it doesn't permanently damage the other fabrics. You can find this set easily under $50.
For a few extra dollars, $89.99, you can get the GEENY lavender baby nursery set. It has 13 pieces which
includes the same as the Buterfly Silky plus wall art decorating items. One of best things I like to see with such
a set is that the patterns are sewing on rather than printed on. As you may know, printed patterns shouldn't be
used for infants and babies. The lavender bedding is slightly warmer than in the picture but it suits anyone
looking for a lavender theme.
These were just a few examples of lavender bedding that you can keep an eye out for. Choosing specific colors
for a room doesn't have to be complicated. In fact, most often the more simple it is, the better it is!
