Do you think that Peter Parker would be thrilled to go home after a hard day of work and sleep in Spiderman
bedding? I don't think so. But you can be sure that many kids across the world would love to have Spider Man
featured on their comforters! This comic book hero is an inspiration to all do gooders, Marvel fans, and those who
wish they could climb buildings and shoot spider webs.
These days you will be hard pressed to find a classic Spiderman bed set of any sort. But it does exist in
limited quantities at Amazon.com. The sheet set is $45 and the comforter is $50. They fit together well, but
for the price you might want to check out the other Spiderman bedding collections because they are much more
stunning. But just keep in mind that some of the newer styles might be too creepy for younger children.
Since the release of the Spiderman movies, new and improved Spiderman bedding is available. Spiderman 3
is one of the latest editions of the hit movies and the reversible twin comforter keeps in line with the same
theme. It is a 132 thread count but still feels quite comfortable. With a good set of bed sheets it won't
matter either way. It comes at around $29 which is in line with most movie bedding. The fact that you can turn
it over is another bonus. The underside features a similar pattern in case you or your child needs a change.
This style of kids bedding can be found at Walmart, Amazon.com, Overstock, Nextag, and even at local stores in
your neighborhood. That is one of the great things about movie character inspired bedding collections. These
products can be found everywhere so the price won't be outrageous. Just be sure to take a quick look at prices
before you actually buy anything.
Spiderman sheet sets are slightly more expensive at $39.99 but they include two pillow cases, fitted sheet, and
a flat sheet. This particular sheet set goes well with any of the spider man comforters because it has great
contrast with darker colors. It is made from a 180 thread count which is pretty high for movie character sheets.
Even young kids won't be complaining like they do with other lower quality cotton threading. Over all, the comic
book feel of these sheets lends well to portraying Spiderman who swings from buildings using webs.
A common issue with most of the Spiderman comforters is that they don't provide warmth and aren't comfortable.
There are two things you can do. The first is to use flannel sheets in combination with the Spiderman sheets. The
other thing you can do is to add a duvet or quilt under the comforter. That way they stay warm but still have the
Spiderman theme going.
Speaking of quilts, the Spiderman quilt will cost $33. But the problem is that it doesn't provide the warmth
that a typical quilt would because it is not made from extremely high quality fabrics. It's made from 100% cotton
with an unknown thread count. But it is large enough to fit both twin and full size beds.
Luckily, Spiderman bedding won't cost you a fortune. This will help your savings and at the same time have a bit
of help controlling your children at bed time. I mean, what child wouldn't want to be swinging from buildings and
spinning webs to catch bad guys all night?
